Abstract

School children are at great risk of contracting Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF). The involvement of groups of school children as larva monitors plays a strategic role in reducing DHF cases through the Mosquito Nest Eradication (PSN) behavior in their neighborhood. The purpose of this PkM activity is to provide education on the Mosquito Breeding Eradication Program through the One House One Fly Monitoring Movement (G1R1J) as an effort to prevent DHF in children at SDN No.91 Sipatana Gorontalo. The average value during the pre-test was 51.48 and increased to 84.81 during the post-test. 90% of students answered the written questions correctly so that it can be said that the delivery of the material was successful and as many as 85% of students were skilled at being correct larva monitors (successful program). Follow-up recommendations from this PkM activity are that the activity can be carried out in a sustainable manner by involving relevant stakeholders (Sipatana District Government, Gorontalo City Government, Sipatana Health Center, Gorontalo City Health Office), so that they can control DHF in order to realize the achievement of Village SDGs No. 3 namely healthy and prosperous villages.
