Abstract

Maintaining oral and dental health is one of the good habits that must be taught from childhood, namely by brushing your teeth. Brushing teeth means cleaning all food debris from the surface. The consequences of not maintaining healthy teeth and mouth include cavities, gingivitis, gum infections, canker sores, broken teeth, and can trigger dental caries in children. Health problems will indirectly affect the level of progress of a region, so with the Field Learning Practice (PBL) program of the Jambi University Public Health Science Study Program, students directly take on the role of public health workers in promotive and preventive efforts to prevent stunting through movement health education. brush your teeth. The aim of carrying out this activity is expected to increase children's basic knowledge and skills about brushing their teeth properly and correctly. This activity was carried out through preliminary observation studies and direct interviews with the Principal, homeroom teacher as well as parent representatives at PAUD/TK. This activity will be held on 13 September 2023 at PAUD/TK Mawar and 25 September 2023 at PAUD/TK Anggrek. From this activity it can be concluded that there is a positive contribution in improving the level of public health in Pematang Gadung Village, Mersam District, Batanghari Regency, Jambi Province.
