Abstract

This article seeks to demonstrate the relevance of the application of a Program of Emotional Education Activities in a school in Barcelona based on experimental evaluative research. The design consists of a school in which the program is intervened and a school to test the empirical evidence in the evaluation instruments approved by the Research and Guidance Group of the University of Barcelona (GROP). The context, the recipients and the design of activities of the Program are explained with the participation of the faculty members. Emphasis is placed on the importance of the evaluation of emotional competences in the young generations that grow in the digital age, since it is considered a priority to develop these competences in students immersed in virtual environments. The program has been implemented for four years and is based on the Paradigm of Emotional Education of Dr. Rafael Bisquerra
