Abstract
Last week the UK Central Council reached the conclusion that the dispute between its senior staff and chief executive Colin Ralph was irreconcilable. Mr Ralph has parted company with the UKCC after a long and protracted dispute which erupted seven months ago. This sorry saga has left its mark on the Council, its staff and Council members. But there is work to be done before the healing can begin. And, as part of that process, the UKCC will be subjected to a fundamental review.
