Abstract
1996 marks the tenth anniversary of the publication of the first volume of Biomedical Chromatography. The ten years since 1986 have seen remarkable advances in analytical and biomedical sciences. The progress in biomedical sciences depends heavily on the availability of analytical techniques by which reliable data can be generated and hypothesis tested. The papers and reviews included in the 10th Anniversary Special Issue clearly demonstrate the applications of modern analytical techniques to the various branches of biomedical sciences. I hope our readers will find these interesting and informative. We look forward to working with our authors and readers for the equally exciting next ten years.
