Abstract

The following editorial outlines the purpose of this special edited edition of the Journal of Visual Art Practice and the contributors' focus towards an expression of artists' voice within academic research. Whilst each article has its own autonomy, they speak to an ongoing debate about the voice and style of academic writing for fine art.
