Abstract
This is a prospective study using patients as their own control to analyze the predictive significance of renospermatic basal reflow on color Doppler ultrasound on sperm concentration, motility, and morphology. A total of 113 men were selected based on the presence of a unilateral left varicocele. The appropriate exclusion criteria were used. Renospermatic basal reflow was categorized using the classification schema of Sarteschi, which assesses internal spermatic vein size and level of reflow in the supine and standing position with and without Valsalva.
