Abstract

Modernization of Russian education, the trends of the international educational integration put forward before the Russian higher education new goals, the solution of which are to be seen in the deep qualitative transformations that are reasonable to provide in the form of two interrelated processes: the reforming of the existing system of higher professional education and the formation of new conceptual approaches and the conditions of its development based on forward-looking assessments and strategic directions, in accordance with structural shifts in the economy and social policy, taking into account the constructive international experience in this field. This trend requires a detailed examination of the organization of educational process in high school; development and testing of alternative models of training; introduction of variability of innovative and flexible educational curricula aimed at their target and address training, the research component strengthening in the learning process, the formation of the intercultural competence of the entities of the educational process; development of their academic mobility; ensuring of information and migration security of the educational process; ensuring the continuity of the university scientific schools, the development of new approaches to standardization of education, focused on the university competitive participation in the international market of educational services.This special issue presents the theoretical and practical studies of modern scientists, dealing with a wide range of problems of modern education. The problems of professional and personal development of the future teachers are solved, organizational - pedagogical and methodological conditions for their effective training in high school are justified; adaptive educational potential of foreign experience in the field of students’ training is identified, as well as conditions for its effective extrapolating to the national system of professional education are proposed; the content and technological aspects of family upbringing of children are revealed; theoretical and practical approaches to the development of the content of educational curricula are presented, the factors and conditions of complex implementation of effective educational technology in high school are identified; the advantages and disadvantages of the implementation of students’ project activities are revealed; the theoretical and methodological bases of formation of students’ research skills are disclosed; content and methodological aspects of the adults’ training are actualized; problems of students’ foreign language training, both in Russian and in foreign universities are presented; socio-psychological factors of foreign students’ adaptation and training in Russian universities are identified; the criteria and indicators of the competitiveness of professional education are revealed and others. Presented in this special issue studies provide a conceptual basis for the theoretical understanding of the Russian experience, its synthesis and structural implementation in the continuing education of other countries taking into account their traditions prevailed and socio-economic development. These papers can have as theoretical so practical value for teachers, researchers, masters, post-graduates, doctoral students of pedagogical and psychological spheres.
