Abstract
Ecotourism is a form of sustainable tourism that focuses on promoting environmental conservation and community well being. It aims to minimize negative impact on natural ecosystems while providing economic benefits to local communities. Sustainable development on the other hand is a broader concept that seeks to meet the needs of present without compromising the ability of future generation to meet their own needs. Ecotourism is national and transnational development strategies. The objective of this paper is to underline the wide scope of ecotourism and how ecotourism has been emerging as an economy reader and how it has been using as a tool for balancing the environment issues and the sustainable development.
