Abstract
Objective To carry about the economic evaluation of clinical effect of micro - invasive surgery in treating female infertility caused by fallopian tube obstruction. Methods One hundred and thirty - six patients with female infertility were treated by self- made catheter(72 cases) , hysteroscopy(21 cases) or laparoscopy(43 cases). The total cost and cost - effectiveness value of 136 patients in the three groups were analyzed. All patients were followed up for the pregnancy rate. Results Among the 136 patients treated by self-made catheter, hysteroscopy or laparoscopy, the oviduct recanalization successful rate was 87. 59% ,71. 79% and 68. 24% respectively. And the total medical cost was (3691 ±726) yuan, (3327 ±682) yuan and (6854 ± 1065) yuan respectively, while the cost -effectiveness value was 42. 13, 46.34 and 100.44 respectively. The pregnancy rate was higher in group of self - made catheter than that in other groups. Conclusions Interventional catheter shows a great value in the treatment of infertility caused by fallopian tube obstruction.
