Abstract
The construction of the eco city has become the main direction of urban development in the twenty first century. There are some conflicts between economic development and environmental protection in the construction of the eco city in China. This paper constructs the coupling coordinative relationship between economic development and the ecological environment, and puts forward the countermeasures of institutional change, ecological reconstruction, escorting policy and public participation, and coordinates the economic development and environmental protection of the eco city as a whole, while promoting the benign interaction between economic development and environmental protection in order to achieve a win-win situation between economic development and environmental protection.
