Abstract
It has been established that recycling is one of the ways of maintaining the circular economy of plastic-based materials. The circular economy and the sustainability aspects of the products are largely dependent on the processing route, types of reinforcement, and method of recycling in the case of plastics. At the same time, plastic recycling may be also considered a pollution emissive and cost-involved process. So, for this reason, when maintaining the circular economy of plastics by any recycling process, the economic and environmental aspects must be taken care of. The environmental and economic factors are also influenced by the action of the processing parameters and the way processing is used. In this regard, the process of recycling should be done not only based on a sustainability point of view but the environmental and economic points of view also. So, in this chapter, detailed literature and discussion have been present for keeping environmental and economic aspects of the circular economy of recycled plastics.
