Abstract
Recent reports have described the value of echocardiography in the diagnosis of mitral anular calcium (MAC). 1–3 We studied 42 consecutive patients with echocardiographically documented hypertrophie cardiomyopathy (HC) to delineate the clinical and echocardiographic characteristics of patients with HC and with or without MAC.
