Abstract
EXERCISES DESIGNED TO TARGET ECCENTRIC MUSCLE ACTIONS MAY BE USED BY REHABILITATION SPECIALISTS TO IMPROVE MUSCLE PERFORMANCE, DECREASE PAIN, INCREASE FUNCTION, ATTENUATE TENDON DEGENERATION, AND RESOLVE MUSCLE ATROPHY. AS PART 2 OF A SERIES, THIS COLUMN PRESENTS ECCENTRIC SHOULDER EXTERNAL ROTATOR EXERCISES APPLICABLE TO BOTH THE ASYMPTOMATIC AND INJURED POPULATION.
