She has written on subjects ranging from Sedona jeep tours to rare brain tumors for the New York Times, National Geographic Adventure, and the Arizona Republic. An Arizona native, she holds a master's degree from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University.
