AbstractProperty, Real Estate & Development (MIC: 8.3 SIC: 6798 NAIC: 525930)EastGroup Properties is a self‐administered equity real estate investment trust focused on the development, acquisition and operation of industrial properties in major Sunbelt markets throughout the U.S. with an emphasis in the states of Florida, Texas, Arizona and California, the majority of which are clustered around major transportation features in supply constrained submarkets. Co. focuses on business distribution space for location sensitive tenants primarily in the 5,000 to 50,000 square foot range. As of Dec 31 2007, Co. owned 202 industrial properties and one office building with an additional 5.73 million square feet under development.
