AbstractProperty, Real Estate & Development (MIC: 8.3 SIC: 6798 NAIC: 525930)EastGroup properties is a self‐administered equity real estate investment trust focused on the development, acquisition and operation of industrial properties in major Sunbelt markets throughout the U.S. with an emphasis in the states of Florida, Texas, Arizona and California, the majority of which are clustered around major transportation features in supply constrained submarkets. As of Dec 31 2006, Co.'s portfolio includes 22.1 million square feet of real estate properties with an additional 1.46 million square feet under development and owned 181 industrial properties and one office building.
