Abstract

Studies have been shown that early life stress is involved in the pathophysiology of Bipolar Disorder (BD). However, there are no studies assessing whether early life stress are predictors of BD onset. The aim of this study was to assess the impact of stressful life events in the incidence of BD in a community sample of young adults from Southern Brazil.
