Abstract

The Education and Human Resources (E&HR) Committee sponsored several new programs at the AGU Spring Meeting in Baltimore, May 27–31 , 1985. Jeremy Dunning (Indiana University, Bloomington) organized an evening panel session on “Writing a Successful Grant Proposal” that was attended by over 100 people. Panelists included representatives of funding agencies and researchers experienced in proposal writing. A report by Dunning on the topics discussed will be published in a future issue of Eos.
