Abstract
The article analyzes the results of the Global Startup Ecosystem Index 2023 report. the main factors that influenced the development of the global startup industry in 2022–2023 were identified. The positions of the leading and outsider countries in the ranking are assessed. The place of Russia and the EAEU countries in the Global Startup Ecosystem Index 2023 is characterized; the problems and prospects for the development of the domestic startup industry are identified.
