Abstract
The article deals with the issues related to the safety of transportation of viscous liquids in tanks on motor transport. The special attention in the process of research is paid to the forms of partitions and their influence on the slippage of liquid and, accordingly, on the load transfer in the roll and pitch planes. On the basis of the obtained results, an optimized design of longitudinal baffles is proposed, which allows to provide the reduction of transverse force and roll moment. Keywords tank, partition, roll, viscous fluid, pitching
