Abstract

An analysis is made of the dynamics of a logistic map lattice with threshold coupling and it is shown that, depending on the values of the control parameters, various types of spatial structures are formed in these lattices. For these structures there is a set of numerical values characterizing the type of structure which depends on the values of the control parameters. It is shown that in the spatially steady-state structures formed in a coupled-map lattice, there are small regions of nonstationary processes in which periodic oscillations occur.
