Abstract

A new delayed predator–prey model with stage‐structure and harvesting on prey and predator is proposed, where the stage‐structure is modeled by the introduction of distributed time delay. The positivity, boundedness and the conditions for uniform persistence have been derived. We investigate the dynamical behavior of the system in terms of local stability of each feasible equilibria, global stability, and persistence. We find that the dynamics of the model depends largely on the harvesting efforts on the two species and the specific form of the birth and death functions.
