Abstract

Fluorescence decays and spectra of the normal form and of the photoinduced isomer of DODCI in ethanol have been examined under picosecond and low intensity excitation. The excited photoisomer has been analyzed in presence of a very weak proportion of the normal excited species. At room temperature, their lifetimes are 0.85 and 1 ns.
