Abstract

The dynamical properties of a single-mode laser with correlations between additive and multiplicative white-noise terms are investigated theoretically. The normalized intensity correlation function, the correlation time and the effective eigenvalues are calculated through a one-dimensional laser equation. Compared with a laser model of independent noise terms, the coupling between noise terms slows down the decay of intensity correlations in the laser field.
