Abstract
Computer Numeric Control (CNC) router machines are used for cutting different types of hard materials in production systems. By using CNC router machines, tasks which require a panel saw, the spindle molder or the boring machine can be performed using a single machine. CNC router machines produce high-quality parts and improve the productivity of production system. Therefore, the selection of appropriate CNC router for each production system is an important consideration. Moreover, different aspects of alternative CNC router machines should be considered in the selection process. The aim of this study is to propose an analytic CNC router selection procedure by considering uncertainty of statements related to the selection criteria and occurrence over time. To overcome the difficulty of modelling uncertainty of statements and change of values over time, dynamic intuitionistic multi attribute decision making is used to determine the most appropriate CNC router. To demonstrate the applicability of the proposed model, an application of the proposed selection procedure is presented.
