Abstract

Significant geomorphic features and their relationships in the Ozarks record events and sequences that are impossible by the noncyclic theory of dynamic equilibrium. Only the Davisian concept of cycles of erosion separated by recurrent uplift of the Ozark dome will account for the region9s geomorphic history.
