Abstract
In 2011, the Istanbul consensus workshop proposed that the assessment of syngamy (24h post-insemination) is a very sensitive predictor for embryonic quality. The value of this technique as an independent predictor of embryonic outcome is still unclear. In this study, we analyzed the relationship between the timing of syngamy and human embryonic development using time-lapse cinematography (TLC).
