Abstract

In this paper we focus on the electric power load in Beijing during this great Olympics to analyze their dynamic fluctuation and find the relationships between electric and other factors (i.e. the highest temperatures). The ARMA process is used here to illustrate the series trends and do the next day's prediction. We also do some research on the effect of the highest temperature to the electric power load, give an enhanced ARMA model to better depict and generalize the power load series. It will make valuable sense for the hold of big tournament in China and in other countries.
