Abstract

The dyadic Greens' functions of the magnetic vector-potential A (DGFA) for unbounded uniaxial anisotropic media are considered in this paper. It is at first derived in the spectral domain through eigenvalue decomposition method, and later transformed back to the spatial domain to get triple integral forms, which are finally simplified to Sommerfeld integrals. In order to verify these mathematical results, we proposed some numerical methods to evaluate the Sommerfeld integrals in the circumstances of uniaxial anisotropic unbounded media. And we compared the numerical results with the analytical results for degenerated cases, i.e., for the isotropic unbounded media, as well as the simulated results from a commercial software for uniaxial anisotropic unbounded media. The comparisons between our numerical omputation and the commercial software COMSOL are shown in Figure 1.
