Abstract
Slavic spirituality, that arouses interest of researchers since the Romantic era, is experiencing today its revival within organizations and groups located within the framework of Rodnovery (Slavic heathenism). A proper understanding of this modern form of spirituality requires a comparison with the original spiritual manifestations of early-Slavic culture and modern folk culture of Central-Eastern Europe. Comparative approach enables the identification of direct sources of Rodnovery spirituality and allows one to define its specificity determined by postmodern temporal perspective. This paper presents former and modern Slavic spirituality in its cognitive aspect. Revelation of Slavic noetic cognition value is possible through the psychological analysis and interpretation of Slavic myths and rituals. Arrangements concerning Slavic heathens’ spirituality against the comparison group in empirical terms are also featured. Presented research perspective refers to assumptions of psychological branches like cultural-historical psychology or real psychology.

Jakkolwiek tak podobne do stanów uczuciowych, w oczach doznających ich wydają się jednocześnie stanami poznania. Pozwala to na dotarcie do specyficznie słowiańskiego sposobu poznawania rzeczywistości (Kośnik 2014), który dostarcza dane użyteczne przy analizie formy i treści kultury słowiańskiej oraz charakterystycznego stylu psychologicznego funkcjonowania jej dawnych i współczesnych przedstawicieli. O ile uznawanie duchowości słowiańskiej w jej aspekcie noetycznym za element słowiańskiego systemu poznawczego może być postrzegane jako spekulatywne ze względu na niewyrażalność doświadczeń, a w konsekwencji brak intersubiektywnie komunikowalnych treści kulturowych, o tyle zwerbalizowany system poznawczy i poznanie duchowe pozostają ze sobą w ścisłym związku.
