Abstract
AbstractA dual‐channel glucose concentration sensor based on coupled cross‐stacked gratings is proposed. When the concentration of glucose solution is varied from 30 to 60 g/100 ml, the maximum values of the bulk sensitivity for peaks at longer and shorter resonance wavelength indicate approximately 615.57 and 262.94 nm/RIU, respectively. Therefore, the sensitivity of channel at longer wavelength is increased by 234.42% compared with that of the shorter wavelength. Advantageously, the dual‐channel sensor with different sensitivities can reduce measurement errors and noise effectively such as background noise and the fluctuation of the light source.
