Abstract

This letter presents a dual-band Gysel power divider (PD) with different power dividing ratios. Unlike traditional dual-band Gysel PDs, the power dividing ratios of proposed PD are determined by both electrical lengths and characteristic impedance of transmission lines. The proposed circuit is analyzed based on transmission line theory and design equations are derived. For illustration, a prototype operating at 1 and 2 GHz is designed and measured. The concept has been verified by the measured results.
