Abstract

The independent operation of small-scale distributed energy resources that do not consider the distribution system causes stability problems such as overvoltage. As one of the methods to solve this problem, a curtailment-based cooperative operation methodology between distribution system operators (DSO) and third parties is being adopted. An economical and efficient distribution system management method is needed because the curtailment method can cause the potential generation of energy waste and economic loss. This study proposes +DR (Demand response) program-based overvoltage management methodology through charging load adjustment of electric vehicle charging stations (EVCS) in a cooperative operating environment. To this end, an AC OPF (Optimal power flow)-based +DR capacity calculation algorithm and an EVCS operator
