Abstract

Dryopteris huberi is a neglected species endemic to the northern and central parts of Brazil. In this paper we describe, illustrate, and distinguish it from D. patula, the most similar species, as well as from D. wallichiana, the only other species of the genus in Brazil. Second-step lectotypifications are provided for D. huberi and D. wallichiana.
