Abstract
Solutions are obtained to the relativistic equations of motion describing the trajectories of freely circulating particles in a Tokamak. For electrons or ions subjected to toroidal acceleration or deceleration or for a poloidal field changing with time, the motion lies on a toroidal drift surface whose major radius changes slowly with time and whose minor radius is nearly constant.
