Abstract

Drift mobility of charge carriers in amorphous and polycrystalline tetra-benzofulvalene has been measured. The drift mobility proves to be field independent in the amorphous samples. The drift velocity saturates in the polycrystalline samples with injecting electrodes, but it is proportional to the field when blocking contacts are used. The results are discussed in terms of the difficult-jump and barrier models.
