Abstract DOWMETAL O1 is a heat treatable magnesium alloy for forgings and extrusions requiring high fatigue strength and good creep resistance. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and compressive, shear, and bearing strength as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on low and high temperature performance, and corrosion resistance as well as forming, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: Mg-8.
