Abstract

The doubly fed inductor electric motor is the basis of the electric drive. It has two three-phase windings which can have different connection schemes: «separate connection», «star», «delta». Each scheme has its own advantages which are manifested in various modes of operation. The existing electric drive models are designed for the most used connection scheme «star». The models for other winding connection schemes are not available. This does not allow to study the modes of operation with other winding connection schemes. In doubly fed electric drives each winding can have its own connection diagram. The existing models also do not provide such an opportunity. The new models of the doubly fed inductor electric drive can be used with various winding connection schemes – «separate connection», «star» and «delta». Each motor winding can have its own winding diagram. The method of nodal potentials enables to simulate the windings switching during the process of their modeling. This model of electric drive is more universal than the existing ones and provides more research opportunities.
