Abstract
The aperiodic auto-correlation sum of Golay complementary pair (GCP) is zero at all non-zero delay, which makes Golay complementary pair have good performance in radar systems. In the literature, GCPs have been widely used in single user (or single antenna) radar system in which waveforms with only good auto-correlation are considered. While in the multi-user (or MIMO) scenario, radar waveforms with both good auto-correlation and cross-correlation are desired to eliminate mutual interference in target detection. To address this issue, constructions of waveforms with both good auto-ambiguity property and cross-ambiguity property are proposed based on zero correlation zone complementary pair (ZCP) sets. The simulation results show that the proposed waveform set perform as well as Golay complementary waveforms in target detection.
