(...) The organisms used in the experiment were transposon Tn5- containing derivatives of R. trifolii TA1. The motile strain was MNF 1002 which has transposon Tn5 inserted at an unknown location in its genome and the non-motile organisms were MNF 1005 (fla - mot - ) and MNF 1012 (fla + mot - ) which have Tn5 inserted into genes involved in flagellar movement (...)
