Abstract
Fahr’s disease is a rare neuropsychiatric disorder with calcification of the basal nucleus. Its symptoms include movement disorders, dementia and affective disorders. The diagnosis is made with brain image particulary CAT or MRI. The authors describe a clinical case of Fahr’s disease, which presented initially with affective symptoms.
