Abstract
Doctor in the court room is a traditional contribution of medicine to justice. With accelerating interchange of knowledge between law and medicine currently in progress, courts have noted a new decisive role played by the medical witness. Role of doctor as a legal administrator and social engineer is vital in a civilized society. People follow medicine, law follows people. Medical knowl-edge must be used effectively to provide truthful medical facts and opinions to settle adjudicate legal conflicts. The doctor must accept the responsibility of medical facts and opinion in the administration of justice.
