Abstract
Susan Apold, PhD, RN, ANP-BC, is the founding dean of the Concordia College School of Nursing in Bronxville, NY, where she is also a professor. Dr. Apold is a nurse practitioner in private practice, a member of the editorial board of the Journal for Nurse Practitioners, past president of the American College of Nurse Practitioners, and chairperson of the board of directors of the Nurse Practitioner Association of New York.
