Abstract
The dynamic thermal mechanical properties of Bamboo fiber(BF)/Polylactic Acid(PLA) composites were studied by the thermal dynamic mechanical analyzer (DMA). The results showed that E' and tanδ were affected by mass fraction of BF and coupling agent. Because interfacial compatibility between BF and PLA was poor, the dynamic thermal mechanical properties of composites were bad when coupling agent was not added. With the increase of mass fraction of BF, the dynamic thermal mechanical of properties became even worse. But when 2% coupling agent was added and mass fraction of BF was 55%, the dynamic thermal mechanical properties of composites were improved significantly.
