Abstract
Stigmaria wedingtonensis occurs in Nevada, Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky and Indiana. It is found throughout the Chesterian Series (Upper Mississippian) and has a longer stratigraphic range than that of S. stellata, a similar European form.
