Abstract

This article investigates the fixed-time output consensus (FTOC) problem for second-order multiagent systems (MASs) with mismatched disturbance and dead-zone input under directed interaction topology. Firstly, a fixed-time disturbance observer is constructed for each agent to estimate the mismatched disturbance. Secondly, a new distributed control scheme based on the fixed-time stability theory and adding a power integrator approach is proposed, which solves the FTOC problem of the MASs. In addition, an explicit representation of the upper bound of settling time is also provided. Finally, two simulation examples demonstrate the feasibility and superiority of the devised control strategy.
