Abstract

This brief investigates the fixed-time bipartite consensus (Fix-TBC) problem for Euler-Lagrange (EL) systems with a directed signed communication network, in which both cooperative and competition exist. A distributed estimated-based control protocol is proposed to guarantee bipartite consensus in a fixed time. By virtue of the Lyapunov stability and the nearest neighbor-interactions rules, the result indicates that Fix-TBC for EL systems with external disturbances can be achieved if the coupling gains are suitably designed. Eventually, numerical simulation results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the provided results.
