Abstract

In this paper, a bipartite consensus problem is considered for high-order multi-agent systems. The interaction network corresponding to the cooperative-competitive multi-agent system can be modeled by a signed digraph. Based on the relative output information of neighboring agents, a novel distributed controller is proposed, which can guarantee that the bipartite consensus be achieved. Furthermore, it is shown that when the communication graph is connected and structurally balanced, if the bipartite output consensus is achieved, bipartite state consensus can also be achieved. Finally, simulation results are provided to demonstrate the correctness of our theoretical results.
