Abstract

Days are not too far when vehicles can communicate with one another. The technology to ensure stays existent nowadays, and the future opportunities are level-headed. Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs) begets wireless networks to vehicles (nodes) & it also provides ubiquitous connectivity while on the road to mobile users, who are otherwise connected to each other in any other ways. However, this advantage will also introduce breach of trust into the network. One of the significant challenges is to a frontward event associated messages subsequently; the information must be reliable by receiving nodes (vehicles). For instance, when a cluster of vehicles is moving on the road, trying to get the information from other vehicles, there might be a chance of a node getting compromised with a malicious node resulting in sending false information (invalid location details, the distance between nodes) thus, spreading false information to all other nodes which can lead to road accidents, traffic congestion, etc. The proposed solution overcomes the above issue by introducing a cloud layer in VANET which prevents node compromising and spreading false information to the neighboring nodes in a cluster. All the information of node (vehicles) is stored in a cloud is directly accessed by the individual node. Thus the node compromise issue can be avoided. Here vehicles and sensor infrastructure merge with the cloud to provide wider range applications. Vehicular cloud network consists of vehicular cloud, sensor infrastructure cloud, and back-end cloud. These three clouds can be introduced via three-tier architecture. Each tier explains how well the vehicular mobility can happen without compromising nodes and provides storage, safety management, traffic management and decision making (using the internet).
